Next General Meeting March 20th 3pm

Our next meeting is scheduled for March 20 at 3PM at Cubana Social.

We have been working on a lot of great initiatives including community outreach, lobbying, building relationships with other industry associations, and developing BABAR as an organization

The meeting will focus on Police and Community relations. Leadership from the 90th and 94th precincts will be present, as well as the Chairman of Community Board 1 and Chairman of the Community Board’s Public Safety Committee.

We hope that you can join us.  It is critical that we show our commitment to the community with a good turn out.  As discussed in prior emails, the Police are particularly sensitive at the moment about thefts that occur at bars.

Cocktail Armada July 12th

BABAR has partnered with the Northside Town Hallto showcase a fleet of North Brooklyn’s finest cocktails and some excellent appetizers. On July 12th, Sunset Cocktail Armada will embark from the Williamsburg waterfront for an  tour of New York’s waterways. The event will be in the spirit of last year’s DRINK Williamsburg Greenpoint event, only bigger, better and boater! Tickets for Sunset Cocktail Armada are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets.
